Local Studies

The Local History Collection comprises the following materials:

• Council Rate Books
• Published works about the local area, its peoples, buildings etc.
• Family Histories
• Photographs
• The Colley Papers
• Kiama Primary School Archive
• Various ephemera including newspapers, menus, newsletters, etc

The Historical Society of Kiama has made a CD available at the library for public access within the library only. Uncatalogued and accessed with a simple table of contents, this CD is a wealth of information.

- this information is available in the general non-fiction collection. Copies of Blue Haven and Kiama - a pictorial history are available for loan at 994.47

First Fleet Online

This website contains a searchable database of 780 First Fleet convicts. It does not contain information about the other 200 sailors, marines and officers who sailed with them.
