Healthy Sporting Environments
Kiama Council has developed a Healthy Sporting Environments Kit (pdf 2.07MB) which was funded by the Cancer Council NSW through their Alvie and Well Grants. The Kit contains useful information for your club about:
- Smoke Free Grounds
- Being Sun Safe
- Healthy Canteens and
- Ideas for Healthy Fundraising
It also contains information on how your club can book (free of charge) the Sunsmart Marquees available through Council.

Kiama Safe Sports Project
The Kiama Safe Sports Project commenced in October 2003.
This project won a gold medal at NSW Sporting Injuries Committee, Sports Safety Awards 2004 - Category B. Outstanding education and promotion project or program in sports injury prevention and reduction - Regional.
