Situated on the south coast of NSW, Kiama is just two hours easy drive from Sydney & Canberra on freeways/highways that continue to be improved and upgraded. It is only 30-35 minutes from the rapidly expanding Wollongong & Shoalhaven Cities and 15 minutes from Shellharbour’s newly developing CBD. Covering an area of 256 square kilometres the municipality boundaries are defined y the Minamurra River in the North, and Seven Mile Beach to the South. The main Urban Centres are Kiama, Geringong, Gerroa, Jamberoo and Minamurra.
