Pool Parties
There are two types of party available for fun, the Childrens' Pool Parties and Gym Fun Parties.
Childrens' Pool Parties
What better way to celebrate your child's birthday than to have a fun and fitness filled party at the Kiama Leisure Centre.
We can offer you two pool party choices. Within Operating Hours and Out of Operating Hours.
For children under the age of 18 years
Choice 1. Within Operating Hours
- Pay pool entry fee for every child swimming - includes tables
and chairs set up and pool toy (Sunday only).
- We can also supply food for your party, please see our Food Options.
- Saturday - day parties can only be booked for after 12:30pm in either pool.
- The pool toy is available to be used on Sundays between 11.30 am and 2.00 pm, together with other children in the pool.
Choice 2. Out of Operating Hours
- This offer entitles you to the exclusive use of the pool area, from 6.00pm to 8.00pm on Saturday nights; the use of the pool toy, noodles, etc.
- The cost for the exclusive use of the pool for the 2 hours is charged.
- A deposit is required at the time of booking.
Food Options
There are 6 options for food at any party (minimum of 8):
- Option 1 - supply your own food.
- Option 2 - hire the BBQ for a small fee.
- Option 3 - bag of lollies, pkt chips and drink = Fee (+ pool entry).
- Option 4 - party pies, sausage rolls, frankfurts, bag of lollies, pkt chips
and drink = Fee (+ pool entry).
- Option 5 - party pies, sausage rolls, mini pizzas, chicken nuggets, bags
of lollies, pkt chips and drink = Fee (+ pool entry).
- Please call the Leisure Centre to confirm fees for these options.
Gym Fun Parties
Please see brochure for available times.
Duration: 2 hours
A minimum of 10 children and maximum of 15 are allowed. If you wish to have 15 - 20 children at your party, you will need to have one adult to help out. 20 - 25 children will require 2 adults.
Ages: 5 to 12 years.
Please contact the Leisure Centre for the cost of these parties.
- These parties are fully supervised with a qualified instructor and include 3 party games.
- Parties are subject to hall and staff availability.
- We can also supply food for your party, please see Food Options.
- An instructor must be confirmed before the party is confirmed.
Note: Packs of 10 party Invitations are available for both Pool Parties and Gym Fun Parties, from reception for only $1.50 per pack.
Rules and Regulations
Pool Party Rules and Regulations
- No glass permitted.
- No alcohol permitted.
- All persons on the pool toy must comply with the Pool Inflatable Rules.
- Under 5 years or not at school must pay entry for parties.
- We do not have heating facilities for you to cook food for your party.
- If one of the food options is required, 2 weeks notice MUST be given.
- If you book a pool party on a Sunday you will be sharing the pool toy with other people.
- If hiring the BBQ, please bring your own utensils and leave the BBQ as clean as possible.
- Saturday night parties MUST be out of the centre by 8.00pm.
- Saturday day parties can only be booked after 12.30 pm in either pool.
- Saturday night parties MUST be limited to no more than 50 people.
ALL INVITED CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED BY A RESPONSIBLE ADULT AT ALL TIMES
Pool Inflatable Rules
- Minimum age 5 years, competent, unaided swimmer (weight limit 80 kg).
- Wait until person in front steps over second obstacle before starting.
- Move along pool in designated direction only.
- No pushing/no pushing in line.
- No running.
- No jumping.
- When you reach the slide you must go down feet first.
- Once you fall off you must swim away from the pool toy as soon as possible.
- DO NOT swim under pool toy.
- No swimming in pool toy area.
- The pool toy will be put up or down at the discretion of the Lifeguard.
ANY PERSON FAILING TO COMPLY WITH THESE RULES WILL BE BANNED FROM THE TOY AT THE LIFEGUARD'S DISCRETION
Birthday parties are booked at reception or by phone. Saturday night pool
parties and gym parties must pay a deposit. Please contact the Leisure Centre for the amount of the deposit.
