Community Support
Kiama Council Community Support is a section of the Kiama Council Community Services Department and is comprised of a range of services designed to help people remain living in their own homes for as long as possible.
Our customers are the reason our service exists. Our success depends on our consumer focus and with this as our primary value, we aim to achieve a standard of excellence in home based care for each and every one of our consumers. We are a community based organisation that understands the complexities of our consumers needs. We have a long history of caring in our community. We have a commitment to provide responsive, flexible and sensitive solutions to the changing needs of our consumers.
The services are primarily for older people, younger people with a disability and their carers, and people who are transport disadvantaged. All these services are either funded by State and/or Commonwealth Governments, or self-funded.
