Rangers Services
Councils Rangers Team may be contacted by phone between the hours of 7.30am and 4.30pm daily. After hours, for emergencies relating to livestock, companion animals or pollution, please leave a detailed message and your call will be assessed for priority.

Council operates an Animal Shelter and Impounding Yard, phone number between the hours of 7.30am and 4.30pm daily. If it's unattended, please leave a detailed message addressed to the Rangers Team so that they may contact you to arrange a suitable time to attend the Animal Shelter.
Councils Rangers Team also offers an animal rehousing program for companion animals. To enquire about this program please contact Council's Animal Shelter as above.

Lifeguards, Lifesavers and Patrolled Beaches
Surf Beach Kiama is patrolled by Council professional lifeguards and volunteer lifesavers from the commencement of the third term school holidays (usually late September) through until Anzac Day 25 April each year. Times vary from 9.00am start outside daylight savings and 10.00am during daylight savings.
The remaining beaches listed below are currently patrolled by either Council professional lifeguards or volunteer lifesavers from 17 December 2007 to 27 January 2008, Monday to Sunday between the hours of 10.00am and 6.00pm.

- Kendalls Beach Kiama
- Easts Beach Kiama
- Werri Beach (south end)
- Seven Mile Beach Gerroa (north end)
