  • The redevelopment of the Kiama Showground Pavilion was commenced.
  • Construction of an underground water storage tank (capacity approximately 300,000 litres) at Black Beach to store treated stormwater from the Kiama CBD was carried out.
  • The Jamberoo School of Arts was redeveloped at a cost of approximately $850,000.
  • Stage 5 of Blue Haven comprising 88 independent living units at a cost of $44 million was completed.
  • Stage 2 of the shared pathway which adjoins and runs parallel to Pacific Avenue and Werri Beach was constructed and is now popular for walkers and cyclists.
  • A new jetty at Kiama Harbour, which will provide safer and more efficient use of the boat ramp, was also constructed.
  • Numerous other capital works, community projects were completed.
