Development Assessment

Join the Kiama Development Industry Committee

Council at its February 2013 determined to establish a Development Industry Committee to –

  • provide a forum for communication between Council and the development industry and by so doing identify and address issues/impediments and associated actions to facilitate the timely and efficient function of the industry; and

  • assist with the implementation and review of relevant strategies as identified, and in particular the development industry related sections of the Kiama Local Environment Plan and Development Control Plan.

Terms of Reference for the Committee have been established.

Expressions of interest to join the Committee are invited from representatives of the building industry including, but not exclusive to, builders, drafts people, drainage engineers, surveyors, certifiers, and tradespeople, and will be accepted up to 4pm on Friday 19 April 2013.
