Green Box are a not for profit co-operative that aims to provide local, sustainable, organic and minimally packaged food at affordable prices. The co-op is committed to supporting local farmers and producers from the beautiful South Coast and Southern Highlands and encourages the use of sustainable farming practices, by providing them a market.

In addition to fruit, vegetables, eggs, dairy, honey, teas, olives and oil, Green Box offers a diverse range of good value, healthy dry goods. All fresh produce is sourced within a 160km (100 mile) radius. To cater for community demand, certain bulk dry goods have been sourced from further afield. Green Box is committed to sourcing the most sustainable products available, from as close as possible and informs customers where their food comes from and how it was grown.

In doing this, Green Box endeavor to reduce food miles, waste, packaging and chemicals and provide the healthiest, most delicious food possible.

Green Box is driven by their passion for organic, local food and seasonal eating: the joy of freshly-dug potatoes, golden pastured eggs, sun-ripened peaches. Green Box believes this food should be available to everyone without costing the earth. The fruit and vegetables are seasonal and therefore the selection available changes from week to week.

You can select your own items or place a standing weekly or fortnightly order of a mixed fruit and vegetable box – small $25 or large $35. Orders can be picked-up between 2.30pm and 5.30pm the following Thursday from 7/11 Bergin Street, Gerringong or there is a delivery option.
