State of the Environment Report

A State of the Environment Report for the Kiama Municipality is prepared for each financial year as a statutory requirement of the Local Government Act 1993. The report details the condition of, and pressures on, the local environment and outlines the current and potential future responses to the identified issues. A comprehensive report is prepared every four years, within 12 months of the election of any new Council. Supplementary reports are prepared for the other years, to update the information provided in the previous comprehensive report.
