Temporary food premises includes food vending vehicles, demountable stalls, stalls and the like in open or in another structure used for the purpose of selling any article of food and any area adjacent. It is the obligation of a stall holder to apply for the registration of a temporary stall (pdf 58Kb). A temporary food installation guide (pdf 478Kb) is available for all potential stall holders.
Each year in October - November, Council places an advertisement in the Kiama Independent for two weeks inviting organisations to nominate their preferred dates for street stalls during the year. These requests for street stalls must be made in writing and allocations will be made on an as-received basis.
Telephone requests will not be accepted until this process is completed.
Only one street stall per location will be approved on any one day within the central business districts of Kiama, Jamberoo and Gerringong.
