Welcome to Kiama

New Resident's Kit

2013 New Resident’s Kit is now available. This Kit provides new and existing residents with information that will assist residents to actively participate in our community. This kit includes:

• A Mayoral Welcome,
• A Council Information Booklet for residents to be familiar with Kiama Municipal Council,
• A Local Information Booklet which consists of important phone numbers for local services,
• An Evaluation Form for residents to provide feedback on this Kit, and
• A CD of Community Directory for residents to access information of community services and resources.


If you would like to obtain a hard copy of this kit, please don’t hesitate to contact Council on 4232 0444 or drop into Council’s Administration Building, 11 Manning Street, Kiama.

Forming a Partnership with Kiama Council

The New Resident’s Kit is an initiative of Council’s “Welcome Project”. Council is looking for partnerships with local businesses that assist us work towards meeting our Goals as outlined in our Community Strategic Plan (CSP). If your business is interested in becoming a partner with this project or to find out more, please contact Council’s Health Promotion Officer, Julie Errey on 4232 0416 or email council@kiama.nsw.gov.au

Funding available

EasyGrants - Council subscribes to EasyGrants and staff can provide your organisation or group with information on external grants available.

Kiama Council offers a variety of grants for the community throughout the year, for more information about how to access grant funding and tools that can assist you to apply for funding, please visit "Our Community" website. This site has a search function to search for a grant in your field.
