Our commitment to road safety involves the creation of the Road Safety Action Plan which looks at the various road user groups and their behaviours as well as infrastructure and transport issues that impact on road safety within the municipality. It then targets those areas by providing education, advice and raising awareness.
Whether you cross the street, ride a bike, drive a car or you are simply a passenger, you have a role to play in road safety. The links below provide information specific to the main areas of road safety to help you make more informed and safer choices when using our roads.
