When is the next event?
Our next Household Kerbside Clean Up Collection for our urban areas is scheduled for March 2018.
Residents should refer to their 2016/18 waste and recycling calendar to find out their scheduled collection date. Waste zone maps and calendars for each zone are available on our urban residential waste services page.
Materials can only be placed on the kerbside one week from the scheduled collection date.
Residents are reminded that items must be of a size and weight that can be safely and capably lifted by one person.
Metal items need to be sorted into a separate pile, and fridges, freezers and stoves must be dismantled.
The total maximum quantity of unwanted goods we will accept is one cubic metre.
We won't accept at kerbside:
No plastic bags, oils, paints, chemicals, glass, gas bottles
(Oils, paints and gas bottles can be dropped off at our Community Recycling Centre for free during regular operating hours.)
No asbestos, building waste, mattresses, engines, car parts, tyres, wardrobes, glass top items of furniture, lounge suites or large items of furniture
(Mattresses, wardrobes, lounge suites and large furniture items can be taken to the Household Bulky Waste Drop Off Event. Engines, car parts and other metal items can be dropped off at our Community Recycling Centre for free during regular operating hours.)
No green waste
(Excess green waste that you can't fit in your green lid bins can be dropped off for a fee at our Minnamurra Waste and Recycling Facility during regular operating hours.)
(E-waste can be dropped off at our Community Recycling Centre for free during regular operating hours.)
