We commemorate Sorry Day each year on the recognised day of 26 May.

National Sorry Day is an annual event that takes place to commemorate the StolenGeneration of Aboriginal peoples in Australia.

The day is an importantone in remembering our shared history and in moving towards respect,recognition and increased awareness of Aboriginal culture and community.

Our Sorry Day event includes a formal flag raising ceremony and a community event.

All members of our community are welcome to attend and a formal invitation is extended to our Aboriginal community members to be our respected and honoured guests.
