Achievement Awards 2019

Launch of Achievement Awards

Kiama Council is marking Local Government Week 2019 (29 July - 4 August) by launching our 2019 Achievement Awards.

The Kiama Council Achievement Awards recognise the efforts of people and groups which contribute to our municipality.

We want you to help us celebrate these great people by nominating them for a Community Achievement Award.

You can nominate a friend, family member, neighbour, club member, in fact anyone who lives in our  municipality.

The Community Achievement Awards are presented to individuals and groups for outstanding achievement or effort in areas such as the arts, sport, community service or the environment.

But if you know someone who is doing fantastic things in other areas, put their name forward.

This year we are also inviting you to help us recognise the individuals who serve our community through their efforts with council.

This includes the Robert East Award, which is presented to council volunteers for outstanding efforts supporting our services such as Blue Haven Care, the Visitor Information Centre, Kiama Library and Family History Centre.

We are also seeking nominations for the Megan Dalley Award, which recognises the achievements and efforts of our trainees.

Nominations for the Community Achievement, Robert East and Megan Dalley awards can be made online:

Nominations close 31 August. The awards will be presented at a ceremony at The Pavilion on 26 September.
