Pin your ideas on Kiama's town centre

Kiama Council is encouraging everyone who lives, works or visits Kiama to ‘pin’ their ideas and suggestions on the town centre.

Council has commissioned a Kiama Town Centre study, which includes an online map where you can ‘pin’ your thoughts:

Users can zoom into areas of the town centre, drop a pin on a location and add their comments.

There are three types of pins:

  • What I Like
  • What could be improved
  • Ideas and Suggestions

The more people who pin their ideas the better and having a diverse range of people is also important.

This will help provide an understanding of the ideas and needs of everyone in our community, including those with businesses in the CBD, people with mobility issues, public transport users and the various community groups that are active in the area.

People can pin their ideas until 20 November.

Council has also organised opportunities to discuss their ideas with the consultants directly:

  • Local Business Workshop - Tuesday, 6 November at 6:30pm – Sebel Harbourside
  • Drop-In Session - Wednesday, 7 November from 3pm to 5pm – Farmers Market, Coronation Park
  • Community Workshop – Wednesday, 7 November at 6.30pm – Sebel Harbourside

The study will take approximately three months with a final report expected in early 2019.
