Report on Illuka Public Hearings

Kiama Council has released an independent report on public hearings on changes proposed to Illuka Reserve and other Council-owned land.

The report by Stephen Richardson, the independent planning consultant who chaired the hearings, is now available from the Council website.

The report covers the public hearings held on 26 June and 3 July into planned changes for Illuka Reserve as well as Council-owned land in Irvine Street, Kiama and O’Connell Place, Gerringong.

Copies of the report are also available from the Council’s Administration Building at 11 Manning Street, Kiama.

Written submissions regarding the planned changes can be made to the General Manager until 4pm, Monday 24 July, by emailing council@kiama.nsw.gov.au, or mail to:

The report from the public hearings and written submissions will be provided to councillors at their August or September meeting, before they decide on the proposals.
