Council online, made easy

Website launch

We're excited to unveil the new Kiama Council website, which offers our community an easier, customer-focused online experience.

The new site is easier to navigate, allowing you to get to the information you need faster.

This is backed up by a smarter, more powerful search engine, which helps you find exactly what you were after.

Importantly, the new site is designed with mobility in mind, so you can access us online while on-the-go from your smartphone or tablet.

We’ve also spent time researching what people look for the most when visiting us via the web. The result is a home page featuring those pages, sections or functions you use the most, as well as an easy to find search bar and menu if you need something else.

The new website offers many new features which our residents, ratepayers and customers will appreciate:

  • Announcements of emergencies and closures
  • What's my bin day?
  • What’s near me?
  • Do it online section

Residents and visitors will enjoy the What’s Near Me function, which allows you to explore your local area. This includes more than 9,000 locations such as parks, playgrounds, reserves, off-leash dog walking areas, boat ramps, beaches, public toilets, showers and more.

There are also a range of online options including registering your companion animals, reporting issues and providing details of your swimming pools.

Further features are being rolled out in stages, to allow everyone to become used to the platform over time.

We’re also keen for feedback as we will be continually making improvements.

While the website may be brand new the address is still the same:
