Jamberoo Mountain Road remains closed
Published on 31 July 2020
Kiama Council reminds motorists planning weekend travel to and from the Southern Highlands that Jamberoo Mountain Road remains closed.
Macquarie Pass is an alternative route.
Council closed the Road following a large landslide earlier this week.
The closure is expected to last between three and six months.
While the road is closed, you can still access visitor attractions such as the Minnamurra Rainforest Centre from the Jamberoo end of the Road.
You can also access sites such as the Illawarra Fly Treetop Walk, Jamberoo Lookout and Barren Grounds Picnic Area from the Robertson end.
Local residents can also access their properties from Jamberoo up to Misty’s Lane and from Robertson to the Barren Grounds turnoff.
