Kiama Council has received the test results from the rivulet at the southern end of Kendalls Beach.

Council was alerted to the discolouration of the waterway last Friday, suggesting a potentially harmful algal bloom.

The results show there is no evidence of toxic species in the samples collected.

As a precaution we will continue to monitor the rivulet and leave warnings signs in place, until we get enough rain to naturally flush out the waterway.
