New COVID-19 relief measures

Kiama Council will now consider discounting or waiving hall hire fees, as part of our overall COVID-19 Financial Relief Package.
The new measure is intended to support community groups who need larger spaces for their meetings to stay COVID Safe.
It is also intended to assist groups who regularly hire our halls for events such as exhibitions, with reduced numbers of exhibitors due to COVID-19.
Applications for discounts or waivers can now be considered by the General Manager, rather than at a Council meeting.
Groups wishing to apply for a discount or waiver should email firstname.lastname@example.org.
This measure will be in place until 31 December 2020.
