Kiama Council reminds local and visitors its beaches and rock pool are open for the Easter long weekend.

Council also urges beach-goers to take advantage of extra beach patrols being provided during Easter and the April school holidays through to Anzac Day.

Council lifeguards and volunteer lifesavers will be patrolling key beaches during this busy holiday period.

Surf Beach will be patrolled every day from Good Friday (2 April) until Anzac Day (Sunday 25 April).

Werri Beach will be patrolled every day from Good Friday (2 April) until Sunday 19 April. It will also be patrolled on the weekend of 24 and 25 April.

Jones Beach will be patrolled over the Easter break and on weekends until Anzac Day (Sunday 25 April).

Council reminds everyone to always swim at patrolled beaches and keep between the flags.
