Kiama Council is urging our cafes and restaurants to put together a COVID-19 safety plan.
COVID-19 safety plans are mandatory for food and drink premises under current NSW Public Health Orders.
Council is responsible for reviewing the safety plans of food and drink businesses in our municipality.
We’re asking businesses to send us their safety plans by 1 July, via email to:
council@kiama.nsw.gov.au
We’ve developed a guide to help with this process:
How to make your COVID-19 Safety Plan(PDF, 611KB)
Public Health Orders will change over time, so it is important businesses keep up to date with these by checking the NSW Health website (health.nsw.gov.au).
Council has also been advised that NSW Police are conducting spot checks to ensure businesses have a safety plan in place.
