Kiama Council’s extensive upgrades to the Jamberoo Sporting Precinct, started in 2018.

The $1.86 million worth of upgrades included:

  • Jamberoo Youth Hall - rebuilding and strengthening structural walls, upgrading stormwater drainage, refurbishing the kitchen and amenities.
  • Kevin Walsh Oval - refurbishment of amenities to provide renovated change rooms, a new canteen, public toilets (including accessible toilets with an adult change table), new fencing, seating and upgraded drainage.
  • Jamberoo Croquet Club – upgraded drainage.
  • Keith Irvine Oval – new amenities, new sports field lighting, car park and access road upgrade.

Kiama Council invested $300,000 into these projects.

The NSW Government provided $1,195,588 through its Stronger Country Communities Fund.
