Explore the journey and vitality of the humble seed and what it takes to grow nutritionally happy food.

Understand the importance of fresh seasonal produce for our wellbeing and our communities and learn how to grow your own fresh greens.

Join our facilitator, Sarah Anderson for produce tastings and discussions around growing requirements, diversity, local climatic conditions and the life cycle of salad crops. You will have the opportunity to pot up some small tubs of seeds to grow your own microgreens, as well as some seedlings to grow out, and receive a package of Popes Produce salad mix.

To attend this workshop, please:

  • wear enclosed footwear
  • dress according to weather conditions (ie. cold weather gear) as the venue is under cover but exposed to the elements

*Bookings are essential and places are limited. To register your place at this workshop, you must be a resident of the Kiama Municipality.
