Household Bulky Waste Drop Off - March 2021

Our Household Bulky Waste Drop Off allows our residents who pay for our waste services through their rates, to dispose of larger items not collected by our regular kerbside services.

Our September 2020 event was cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Our March 2021 event has been extended to two weeks and eligible residents are able to drop off twice during the event.

Bookings are essential.

Accepted items:

• mattresses (limit 2 per household)
• lounges
• furniture
• toys, baby goods
• sporting goods, bicycles
• garden pots and equipment
• white goods
• electrical goods
• blinds, carpets
• crockery and homewares
• cds, dvds, books
• items for the Community Recycling Centre

Not accepted items:

• asbestos
• building and demolition waste
• garden waste (unless fees are paid)
• household garbage or food scraps
• pane/sheet glass or mirrors
• toxic chemicals and hazardous waste
• tyres
• waste from commercial premises
