These types of glass are created at a different heat level, impacting their ability to be recycled.

To dispose of glass such as these, wrap in paper (for safety) and put in your red landfill bin or take to the Dunmore Waste Depot.

• spirits/alcohol bottles
• soft drink bottles
• glass food jars e.g. pasta sauce, pickles, vegemite, etc.

Medical waste such as dialysis bags, colostomy bags, incontinence pads, bandages and other items contaminated with bodily fluids should be sealed in a plastic bag and disposed in your red landfill bin.

Households that generate excessive quantities of medical waste resulting from a verified permanent or long-term medical condition can request a Specific Waste Bin Collection Service.
