If your white goods are still in working order, you could try to find a new owner for them by selling or giving them away on commuity notice boards, Facebook Buy, Swap and Sell sites, Freecycle or dropping them of at the Dunmore Resource Recovery Centre or Berry Buy Back Centre.

Minnamurra Waste & Recycling Facility will accept, at no cost, your white goods which are made up of at least 70%:

  • steel
  • aluminium
  • copper
  • brass

Examples of white goods include:

  • microwaves
  • ovens
  • fridges
  • washing machines
  • dryers
  • dishwashers


You can also dismantle your old white goods (remove doors and make sure they can be lifted by one person) and put out for collection on your Household Kerbside Clean Up date in March.
