COVID-19 restrictions update
We are excited to be reopening our doors from Monday 1 June and welcoming you back to Kiama and Gerringong libraries with our Library Express service.
The Kiama Family History Centre remains closed until further notice, and our street libraries are also closed.
And if you'd prefer to continue to stay safe at home, remember our eLibrary is always open. Find out more below.
We are open
In line with Stage 1 easing of COVID-19 restrictions, Kiama Library is reopening with our Library Express service, starting Monday 1 June.
As always, the health and safety of our customers and staff is our top priority so we will be fully complying with the NSW Health guidelines to protect everyone who comes through our doors. For this reason there are restrictions on some services and the Family History Centre will remain closed for the time being. Likewise our programs and events will remain online for the moment.
However, we are also pleased to launch some exciting innovations, such as our new library app and self-check options to help make your experience safer and easier. Visit our Library Express page for more details, and remember to bring your library card when you visit.
Thank you for your patience while we transition back to being a fully functioning library. Keep an eye out here and on social media for further updates regarding our services.
COVID-19 safety plan
A COVID-19 safety plan has been developed for Kiama and Gerringong libraries based on NSW Government guidelines to help create a safe environment for library customers and staff. Click on the link for more details.
