Old Fire Station Community Art Gallery

*Important Notice

Due the current COVID 19 pandemic all upcoming exhibitions at the Old Fire Station Community Art Centre are cancelled and the building closed until further notice. BOOKINGS are no longer being taken for exhibitions in the July to December period.

Located on the corner of Terralong and Shoalhaven Street, Kiama.

Both professional and community artists exhibit at the exhibition space.

Opening hours

Exhibitions run from Friday to Wednesday each week, generally between 10am and 3pm.

However, exhibitors run their own events, so hours may vary.

The gallery is not available for hire to commercial operations.

Commercially made items may not be exhibited.

All items must be handmade original work.

Current fees:  

  • Weekly hire fee $260
  • Refundable bond $110                        
  • Refundable key deposit $35
  • Public Liability Insurance $150

All fees, including hire, bond and key deposit, must be paid to secure your booking within one month of being advised in writing that your application has been successful and a booking date has been allocated.

Booking deadlines

January–June inclusive close 31 October | Applicants notified by end of November.

July-December inclusive close 30 April | Applicants notified by end May.

Art @ the Library

Located within Kiama Library, Railway Parade, Kiama.

Our Art @ the Library exhibition program provides an opportunity for established and emerging artists in the Kiama community to exhibit their work. 

Exhibitions run from March to November only.

Each exhibition is for 1 month.
