Kiama Council is undertaking an improvement program of compliance works across its five Holiday Parks.

Council endorsed the proposed program of works at its Ordinary Meeting on 17 May 2022.

The improvement works involve remediation of various issues including:

  • Road widening
  • Amenities improvements
  • Parking areas
  • Fire hydrants
  • Holiday van compliance – individual owners have been contacted (see sample letter in the sidebar of this page)

Council’s Kiama Coast Holiday Parks comprise the Kiama Harbour Cabins at Blowhole Point, Surf Beach Holiday Park, Kendalls on the Beach, Werri Beach Holiday Park and Seven Mile Beach Holiday Park.

Council also resolved at the 17 May meeting to place the redevelopment of Werri Beach Holiday Park on hold to a future date to enable consideration of financial implications and funding options.

The program of works will be undertaken over the next two financial years, with the majority of works to be scheduled between May and September of each year to minimise any impacts during peak season.

Roadworks at Werri Beach are programmed to commence May 2024.

All five parks will remain open for business and will be welcoming visitors throughout.
