Do not attempt to swim at the southern end of Bombo Beach under any circumstances. This section has a very dangerous rip current and lives have been lost here.
Situated along the Princes Highway, between Bombo Headland and Pheasant Point.
The beach is 1.2km long and perfect for surfing.
The northern end of the beach is patrolled during the NSW Christmas School holidays, with an off-leash area to the south between sunrise and sunset.

Bombo Beach is patrolled by Council lifeguards on weekends between December and February, with patrols seven-days-a-week from mid December to late January.
