GET OUTSIDE IN KIAMA THIS SUMMER
Kiama is the place to be these school holidays, with a packed program of activities across our community and Council facilities. Our regular markets will be full of fresh produce and live music as well as plenty of holiday cheer available at a range of carols events.
Young people in Years 7 to 12 can also look forward to outdoor excursions, arts and crafts workshops, gaming showdowns and more. For younger children and the young at heart, the libraries are offering a great mix of free and low-cost activities including arts and craft sessions, LEGO workshops and an escape room!
For the Community
Celebrate the magic of Christmas across Kiama this summer. This festive season is all about light, laughter, and song with plenty to enjoy with family and friends. From Carols under the stars in Hindmarsh Park, to Gingerbread Cookie Decorating, Christmas Train rides, the Gerringong Christmas Parade, Christmas on the Greens in Gerringong, there is something on offer for everyone.

At the Libraries
Kiama and Gerringong Libraries are hosting a full program of activities across the school holidays. Families can expect Christmas crafting, festive stories, songs and screenings as well as hands-on workshops and STEM-inspired challenges. In January, there is a host of exciting new school holiday programs to keep your curious young minds busy with an escape room, bug show ceramics and more.
Be sure to book early, as these workshops book out early.

At SENTRAL Youth Services
The SENTRAL Youth holiday program is very popular and regularly books out. This Summer, they are bringing more opportunity for adventure, creativity, exploration and just plain fun thanks to funding from NSW Government School Holiday Break Summer 2026 Grant. A new special offering, funded by Recreational Fishing Trust, is the Reel Connections Overnight Fishing Camp. Be sure to book early and always check directly with Sentral.
