Council, in partnership with the Department of Communities and Justice and local Traditional Owners has delivered a Project to honour and promote local Dharawal heritage, culture and history.
Council has continually consulted with local Traditional Owners to consult, for decision making, to maintain informed, and ensure culturally appropriate practices for the delivery of the Project.
This project celebrates local First Nations identity and heritage, while fostering recognition, respect, and visibility of Traditional Owners in the Kiama Local Government.
