Kiama Council advises that our Kiama Post Office Box (PO Box) was compromised at some point between 9.30am on Monday 3 November and 9am Tuesday 4 November, which means mail items in-transit to Council may have been impacted.
As items in transit were yet to be received and registered by Council, we are unable to provide any detail about what items may have been compromised.
Council will contact our frequent hard-copy mail customers directly.
We also advise community members and customers: if you have posted mail to Council in recent days to please seek confirmation of receipt via our Customer Service team and/or the relevant recipient.
