CEO performance review and contract

The Mayor and Kiama Councillors at the 17 June 2025 Ordinary Council meeting considered the CEO Jane Stroud’s performance review and contract in confidential session.

The performance review report was endorsed by Councillors, recognising a high standard of performance. Councillors also approved an increase of 3% to the CEO’s remuneration.

Council acknowledged and approved a request from the CEO renew her contract for a period of 3 years from 18 June 2025.

The CEO will now be provided with a written statement regarding the conclusions of the performance appraisal, which will set out any recommendations for future performance criteria, as per the conditions set out in the Local Government Act.
