Road resurfacing program - upcoming works

Council contractors will undertake road resurfacing works on Wednesday 10 December 2025, between 7am and 5.30pm, weather permitting.

Location

Barton Drive, between numbers 27 and 35 Barton Drive

Traffic changes

Council contractors will be closing Barton Drive during the duration of the works, with a detour route via Tarrant Avenue, and Meehan Drive.

Weather permitting, Council contractors will be undertaking road work adjacent to your property and/or access street, on Thursday 11 and Friday 12 December 2025, from 7.00am through to 5.30pm. This work forms part of Council’s Resurfacing Program in the area.

The road will be resurfaced on Colley Drive, between Minnamurra Street and Terralong Street. Council contractors will be closing Colley Drive for the duration of the works, with a detour route via Minnamurra Street and Collins Street.

Council contractors will undertake night road resurfacing works on Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th December 2025, between 7pm and 5am, weather permitting.

These works form part of Council’s ongoing Resurfacing Program in the area. Location Allowrie Street, between Churchill Street and Young Street intersection.

Traffic changes

Allowrie Street will be closed for the duration of the works.

Detour for light vehicles: via Wyalla Road, Macquarie Street and Minnamurra Lane.

Heavy vehicles: will be escorted through the site under the guidance of authorised traffic controllers.
