I am a semi-retired corporate and public affairs consultant from Kiama Downs.
I am a strong community volunteer within Kiama’s local government area, a past chair of Kiama’s Combined Community Advocacy Group and North Precinct and past president of the Kiama High School P&C Association.
I am a 20-year navy veteran with operational service in Bosnia-Herzegovina as well as a former senior ministerial adviser in the Howard government.
I have been a consultant lobbyist across the three tiers of government, including clients listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.
I’m also an advocate on mental health matters, particularly for veterans. I am married to Cath and a father of four.
My two youngest children attended Kiama High School with one now at the University of Wollongong and another undertaking a real estate traineeship in Kiama.
It is no secret I am a member of the Liberal Party of Australia, however I strongly oppose the involvement of political parties in local government.
I do not claim to be an independent and will always fight for better outcomes for our community.
