Kiama Council warns residents and visitors against attempting to access the Bombo Quarry staircase (Bombo Headland Eco Walk), which remains closed to the public.
Safety barriers preventing public access continue to be damaged by people trying to use the stairs.
The stairs remain a building site with physical works currently underway and are not safe to use.
Council contractors are currently working to complete all required rectifications.
Once this is complete, certified as safe to use, and the stairs handed back to Council, we will be able to open them to the public.
