Quarry Sports Complex

Kiama Council is seeking community feedback on the development of masterplans for two sports complexes in our LGA: Kiama Sports Complex (Havilah Place) and South Werri Reserve, Gerringong.

Background

Kiama Council was awarded a grant under the Australian Government's Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program (Phase 3) to develop Masterplans for the Kiama Sports Complex and South Werri Reserve. Council recently engaged Sala4D Pty Ltd to separately masterplan these two sport and recreation precincts, which will be used to plan and prioritise future upgrades and obtain implementation funding.

Kiama Sports Complex

The Kiama Sports Complex (aka Quarry Sportsfields), located in Havilah Place Kiama, is part of Kiama Municipal Council’s largest sporting precinct which includes the Kiama Leisure Centre, Kiama netball courts, skate park, public car park and four (4) grass sporting fields and athletics track. The Masterplan will focus on the grass sporting fields including athletics track and associated infrastructure, the skate park, public car park and the netball courts.
